Canoeing

Less than 2 km from our house one of the most wild rivers of Pomerania - Pokrzywna flows. Still not fully explored, enrapturing with the beauty of pristine landscape and irresistible impression of the proximity of nature. Fast stream, numerous swift currents, surrounding meadows and forests is a treat for the amateurs of canoeing. Furthermore many numerous beavers living here, leave additional attractions after their hard work in the form of fallen trees. Pokrzywna is in turn a tributary of bigger Wieprza, which together constitute one of the most attractive canoeing routes in Pomerania.

Enthusiasts of water expeditions will enjoy here all the aspects of Pomeranian rivers. From the fast mainstream with numerous pebble swift currents, through more silent sections among the moraine hills of Wysoczyzna Polanowska and finally having the possibility to reach the Baltic Sea itself.

In the nearby Trzebielino (3.5 km) there is a canoe rental, which creates excellent opportunities to admire the charms of nature from the perspective of these beautiful waterways.
